Skatepark Kraaiennest DIY was initiated and built by skaters from the neighborhood and has been in use since 2018. It has become a welcoming place for skilled skateboarders to have fun in and it introduces kids and young people from the area to the sport. People from the neighborhood and an increasing number of skaters from farther away are discovering the park. Additionally, the park is easily accessible by foot, bike, metro, or bus from Kraaiennest station.
