During the 4 skateboarding events we organised at our park, we managed to help over 250 kids begin their adventure with skating. Now, we want to provide this service to the community on a regular basis and in a structured way. Our lesson programme has been developed based on our own experiences with learning how to skateboard. Focus on fundamentals, good habits and fun to build confidence and comfort on the board. Using drills, activities, tips utilized by Mitchie Brusco (a 14x medalist at the X-Games) in the learning process.
Location
In good weather conditions the lessons will be held at the Skatepark Kraaiennest DIY. In bad weather conditions the lessons will be held at the Paper Dome or Bonte Kraai
Schedule & price
The course will last for 8 weeks with 1 lesson per week. The total cost for the course is € 80,-.
Period 1: 15th March - 3rd May
Lessons: Sundays, 12:00-13:00
Teachers & gear
​Two members of the team present at the lesson to ensure enough time and attention for everyone. Rental of a board and all of the protective gear is included in the lesson price.
Lessons & sizes
Lessons will be an hour long and split into three sections: Warmup & Gear, Lesson Topic, Free Practice & Indiviudal Tips. We have capacity for 4 groups with a maximum of 10 students per group.
Try-out lessons
Try-outs are a chance to see if we're a match. Free of charge and held before the start of each period.

Age & level
We want to focus on beginner skaters in the age range of 8-12 years old, but we will consider all applications. We aim to expand our offer of levels and age groups as our school grows.
